They say

If you are a beginner or intermediate skier, or only ski now and again, the Absolute Joy is the right choice for you. It’s a mix of lightweight materials and key qualities of balance and control

We say

Its immediately apparent that the Absolut Joy is very much focused on skiers who are in the early stages of carving. It’s incredibly lightweight and amazingly easy to maneuver, particularly at slower speeds. For lower level skiers or for lighter weights these abilities will really work in their favour. In deeper snow the light weight will help in deeper snow, although it would need a wider platform to give it plenty of float. At higher speeds, that light construction does start to find the forces against it more of a battle and can lose grip

Tester Comments

Lynn Mill
Best suited for a petite gentle skier due to its lightweight and maneuverability. Ski it too fast and stability is lost
