They say

If you love fast turns on freshly groomed pistes, the Firebird Ti from Blizzard is the ski for you.

We say

The Firebird felt perfectly set up for medium arcs, it was quick from edge toedge and once committed drew out an easy to read curve. It definitely has plenty of power directly under the foot and would give the skier confidence when moving onto hardpacked conditions. It was possible to pick out the strengths of this ski on our test, but unfortunately the tuning wasn’t great on the day which made it quite grabby through the turns. This felt like a ski that wouldn’t disappoint for all round performance on the piste

Tester Comments

Pete Davison
Good grip in longs with power through the turn. Hard to alter turn radius and not dynamic in shorts probably due to tune?
Dougie Mill
Great edge to edge, lovely arcing turns, loses stability in short turns
