They say

An excellent balance between the tip and tail make the Camox Birdie very efficient in soft snow and the stiff flex under the bindings gives it great grip on hardpack

We say

This was the widest ski we tested in this group. That extra girth really helps in deeper conditions where the Birdie felt totally at home, where you get instant float and an ability to change direction with low effort. Back on the piste it was quite surprising in that it can grip pretty hard, particularly in long, fast turns. In short turns on hardpack they feel a bit more ponderous from edge to edge due to that wide profile, but for skiers who love powder and making big cruisy turns on the piste they would work well

Tester Comments

Eilidh McLeod
Stiffer ladies ski that grips well on the piste. Not so quick to initiate the turn and you have to work harder in short radius, but feels stable at speed
Rowena Phillips
Probably the widest in category but rotates well and steers effectively in medium turns
