Volkl Code Speedwall - 2012

This is a completely new model from Volkl. One of the key differences with this ski is that Völkl are using colour codes instead of length to choose your size of ski. These codes are based on your height, weight and skiing ability. The Speedwall variant that we tested uses a race derived construction with an upwards rocker curve in the tip and tail. The Code is an absolute beauty to use on the piste, it’s incredibly smooth, well damped and matched up to limitless levels of edge grip. Essentially this was simply a fabulous ski which we couldn’t fault, it is one the best piste performance skis money can buy, however the price does reflects this.
