Discipline(s): Alpine Ski LW9-1
Age: 42
Hometown: Cardiff

Chris was left paralyzed after a Rally crash in 2011 broke his back and neck damaging his spinal cord. This left him unable to walk or use his arms. After several months of rehabilitation Chris was eventually able to walk again but only has less than 50% power in his legs. Having skied since he was a kid and inspired by the challenges his friends with similar injuries were overcoming Chris decided that he would ski in the Paralympic Games. Attending his first World Championships in 2015 he has raced at every opportunity in the last few years and his determination has paid off with his pick for the Team GB Paralympic squad.
