Pal/Arinsal Ski Resort
The pretty, tree-lined slopes of Pal and the open, east-facing slopes at Arinsal form a compact 63km of linked slopes that area ideal for families and those starting out on snow.
Although there are steep slopes at Arcalis (linked by lift pass (if you buy a season pass or a 'Ski the North' pass which allows you four days in Pal-Arinsal and two days in Ordino-Arcalis) and a regular bus to form the Vallnord ski area), Pal/Arinsal is very much a ski area geared towards beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The ski schools here have a very good reputation, as well as long history of teaching English visitors. Add in low prices fuelled by Andorra’s tax-free status and there is good reason why this is such a popular family ski destination.
